These are the earliest work by Naoko, most of which were collected in tankobons and published by Nakayoshi. Most of these scans have been found around the internet, but I am working on purchases as many of these works as I can to re-scan them so the archive can have high quality versions.
Chocolate Christmas.Chocolate Christmas was Naoko's first tankōbon. It contains two stories "Chocolate Christmas" and "Wink Rain" that were original published in Nakayoshi Monthly."Chocolate Christmas" in Dec 1987, and "Wink Rain" in January 1988. Both stories were later complied into a tankōbon and published in December 1988 . The main story "Chocolate Christmas" tells the story of Ryon, a lonely girl, who falls in love with a Radio DJ."Wink Rain" tells the story of a love square that must part ways when they go to different high schools. It marks the first story in Naoko's "Rain" themed stories.A full scanlation can be found at Miss Dream
MariaMaria was co-written with Naoko's friend, Marie Koizumi. It is based on the story "Daddy Long Legs" by Jean Webster. Maria exist as both a light novel and Manga.It tells the story of Maria, a middle-class girl who receives the funding for an elite private academy from a mysterious benefactor. The Benefactor ask that Maria write him a letters and in the future marry him.Black and White images are from the novelization.A full scanlation can be found at Miss Dream
